Design and construction.
The Hubert mechanical raked barscreen, type DOKWED has revolving rakes wit hall moving parts located at the clean side of the screen.
It is suitable for removing large quantities of coars debris.
The system consists of a stationary screen which is cleaned by a series of revolving rakes which project from the rear between the bars and in an upward movement lift the debris over the top of the screen.
This rear raked barscreen is suitable for channel widths of 1 - 5 meter and depths of 1,5 - 8 meter.
The DOKWED raked barscreen os often used in pumping stations where in summer large quantities of grass, reed and water plants released by moving operations tend to cause problems for the pumping station.
The DOKWED barscreen can be lowered into the canal in recesses in the concrete walls.
The design is robust and simple and functional with a maximum cleaning effect.
